These boots were made for…

not running, maybe walking

dancing if I danced (altho I’ve had a hankerin’ to learn the the Texas 2 step or the Cotton-Eyed Joe), pacing

 tromping thru stuff

 chasing kids

shopping sometimes

jeans that are long enough and not stuffed into the boots.  Please.

I’ve worn boots off and on for a long time.  Actually more off in the last 20 years than on.  I just couldn’t seem to find a comfortable pair. In my younger days, I lived in them.  They were extremely comfy.  Then my arches fell.  Along with some other stuff that we won’t talk about.  When the arches fell, my shoe size went up a 1/2 size…never a 6 1/2 AAA again!  Which was ok because now I can wear regular size shoes that easy to find.  When I was a kid, I had one pair of shoes and they had to be ordered in and were pricey.  Now, I can wear anything that has a removable insert so I can put my special made one in.  But some shoes still hurt.  And especially boots.

But no more.  I found some boots that I can stay in without my insert!!!  I had a pair of Ariats that I bought in Texas last year but durn those things hurt.  Found these in Kansas CIty…even if missed George, I got some new boots. And they’re BLUE!!!  The little gal helping me directed to me straight to these when I told her the Fallen Arches Saga.  She said they were THE only boot she wore now. They’re Ariats too, but don’t have the higher cowboy heel and their insert is wonderous!  I wore them all day Monday when I had to go to Dodge.  No problem.

So, for all you cowgirls who have stuff that has fallen, these could be your answer.  For the arches anyways.  The other stuff?  You’re on your own.  Hopefully you have a Victoria’s Secret nearby….

I’m a big fan of Ariats… In fact I am in love with my newest pair. Same style as yours but a little different.

Surely they could order in some western boots? I just love these things. It took me a long time to find them and then decide to get them but I am SO glad I did! BTW, will start re-reading GBOP tonight. I miss Guy and Ysabel. When is the book out? Am considering a Kindle Fire now so I can get the enhanced version also. Is it wrong to have all 3?!!! 😀

You should be wearing your boots especially when you are anywhere outside!! I’ve worn out four pair in the past four years! And Ariats Rock—–I love them. I have all styles but still love my Fat Babies——-no snide remarks————I finally worn right through them where those little fangs could go straight through. I broke down and bought me a new pair about three months ago. Now to get them broken in! I also have a special kind of glove I wear for rattlers——I go through about four pair of them a season! And YES, I wear my pant legs tucked in to the boot a lot——-don’t want the bottoms of my pants to drag and they are all too long for these short, fat legs!
