It’s snowing, fire is roaring, wood box is filled (thanks to grandsons!). So it’s official…I can knit.
Must buy more yarn. (I’ve found wonderful yarns locally HERE and on the web HERE.) Who knew there were SO many yarns?!!!!
Must find patterns. For beginners! (what I’ve found so far is HERE)
Must knit. Purl. Knit. Purl. Improving but much much room for MORE!
The thing is…this involves numbers. Yeah. Numbers. The bane of my existence. I’m considering keeping a calculator by my side but not sure that will help? 😀
Lord help me. I’ve learned a new hobby/art media/clothing construction/odd shaped hot pads.

Great photo of the boy wearing his scarf. I have a drawer filled with hand knitted scarves that my mother and daughter have made for me (best gifts ever). I don’t knit, or can’t, my mom somehow taught my daughter how to knit. Did you say it already started snowing again?

Yep it’s snowed off and on all day. Really hasn’t amounted to much as it’s a very dry snow. But man is it cold! Temp is 1 right now. Don’t even want to think about what the wind chill factor is. The red scarf boy is #6 grandson who ordered a “red scarf to keep me warm” when he watched me knit one day. FInished a pink scarf yesterday for #4 granddaughter…nearly done with a gorgeous variegated blue FOR ME!!!!
