Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Country Life

My name is Debbie…I am the wife of a farmer, the mother of farmers and it appears the Meemaw of Future Farmers! I hail from the Great State/Republic of Texas, where I met Big Boss many, many years ago in college.

I love the country life and can not imagine living anywhere else.  Although I do love to travel and visit other places.

I enjoy, scrapbooking, cake decorating, genealogy, quilting, sewing, embroidery, refinishing old furniture, gardening, reading, painting/drawing, music, cooking, interior decorating and babysitting grandchildren. And I collect dolls.

I am a born-again, Bible believing, Daughter of G-d but I’m not going to back you into a corner and throw that in anyone’s face.  Unless you ask me to!

I love learning new things and have just recently learned to French braid hair.  I know you’re impressed and well you should be.  It just took me 20 years to try it.  Thanks to YouTube!!  Amazing what you can find there!

So many of my city friends are interested in farming/ranching and have no idea what really goes on in them.  And so many folks don’t understand the industry and what a crucial part farmers and ranchers play in the economy and maybe even in society.  Come along with me to see how the other half lives!
